 From
1984 to 1991, The Making Of: was one of the hottest
syndicated television series in the world. Each week,
viewers were taken behind-the-scenes and around the world on
the set of one of Hollywood's biggest films. Over
sixty episodes were produced and distributed to 80% of the
top U.S. markets in addition to 22 foreign countries. This
series marked the start of the behind-the-scenes
genre, as well as the studios realizing that showing the
public how stunts, special effects, and the process of
moviemaking were created, would not hurt the box
office. Today, you can find behind-the-scenes and
special material on virtually every DVD sold. A few episodes
from the series, in addition to other docu-tainment and
documentary projects are featured above. |
